The Heaven of 7-11s

Every day we start off with a trip to 7-11, which are on every corner like Duane Reade's in NYC. They have everything we need for the day: water, candy, gum, chips, phone cards and of course there is extra incentive to buy things since there's a huge promotional tie-in to celebrate the 30th birthday of HELLO KITTY! with every $75 purchase (about $2.50 U.S.) you get a collectible Hello Kitty magnet -- collect all 33! One commemorating each year of her happy existence, and three special edition ones!

So if anyone out there (Kara, Matt) is concerned about turning 30 (Kara, Matt) just remember the eternally youthful and cute hello kitty ... she's a savvy 30 year old too! i feel younger already.

Odd that there's 33 collectables for her 30th birthday. I think matt and I will get started on our magnets.

What's wrong with Circle K? Are the Chinese biased? Does Hello Kitty have a theme song?

i explained why there are 30! one for each year and three special edition ones!!! as for circle k, you only see them occasionally ... along with a local chain called Family Mart, and other chain tha doesn't really have a name but their logo is a happy circle and a happy star. 7-11's are No. 1 though! and only one with hello kitty! as for fish eyes, i am working my way up to them. i have eaten the fish part ... octupus ... squid ... maybe someday.
