T-shirt slogans

this is one of my favorite parts of the trip -- seeing the really bad t-shirt slogans people wear! here's a sampling .... i wish i could remember them all:
  • "Nobody's Perfect But Me"
  • "I love JEAN!"
  • "Yo! Cool Generation!"
  • "California Cheap Skate"
  • "Buddah Rocks"
  • "Carifornia Surf Academy" (yes, they spelled California with an R)
  • "This food has come over from America. Isn't it good?" (features photo of cheeseburger)
  • "It's good to glow" (features photo of nuclear reactor plant)

Lots of fun adventures for you. Thanks for writing so frequently. Has made Monday morning very exciting. I am anxious to hear about Hong Kong and how it compares to Taiwan. Curious about any political issues you pick up. BTW- finally watched Napoleon and found it delightful. Amy gave me a magnet!

Seriously - the girl from Hanford WA needs the nuclear power plant t-shirt too!! I love it!! Can wear it with my Dad's Richland Bomber Jacket - complete with mushroom cloud.

yay! audra in the house!

sorry haven't updated lately ... very hard to find internet when we're on the go so much! next time, travel with laptop!

oh, and yea, the reason no one's getting t-shirts as souvenirs is that the sizes here are v. small. i mean small. i mean extra small.

whenever i walk into a store they discreetly guide me to the plus size section. not good for the ego BTW ....

if you want to gross isaiah out tell him we are served plates of nothing but CELERY bathed in GREASE. it's so gross and slippery you can't even pick up with chopsticks. but i bet he would find some dandy outfits! everything is his size.

brett, who joined the trip late, says his business plan would be to start a clothing line for women with the sizes: petite, extra small, small and almost medium. how can a girl resist being almost medium????

i tried on one of those mandarin collar shirts with the cap sleeves. it was cute and traditional and stuff, but my curvage just made it look awkward. and like i should be serving egg rolls. it was also XXL, so i didn't buy. i've been focused on jewelry purchases. even when i retain water jewelry always fits.
