Stay, stay, stay. You're on a grand adventure - what an opportunity. Embrace the differences. Thank goodness the world has differences, otherwise we'd all be so bored. How very exciting for you to spend this length of time immersed in another culture. You'll appreciate home that much more. I know exactly where you're at with the hole in the floor - been there in the Middle East. But see past that!
BTW-heard on NPR this morning about the torrential rains in China, and hundreds of people dying and populations from 3 provinces being evacuated. I thought of your posts immediately and the comments about all the rain.

CD - SEriously - this trip will be worth nothing if you don't have a chance to wear your american flag boxers on the great wall - if you can't wear the shirt, at least wear the boxers and just pull them up a little from the hem of your pants - $1 from each of us. And from a girl who can't imagine squating over a hole, think of how much easier it will be when we all go camping in August.
ok, thanks guys! i have survived the first tour in china. we are back in hong kong where they have not blocked blogspot yet, so i can read your posts finally!!!!! thanks .... you can probably tell from the posts that things got better ..... it's amazing what a great day/night of shopping will do. presents for all who post!!! yay!!!!
