Internet Cafe's -- Int'l Style!

So we stayed next door to an internet cafe. i was excited to hear the news and envisioned corresponding with everyone back home with a nice cup of jasmine tea at my side .... with perhaps a pastry or two ... something like an Asian Portfolio Cafe ..... but there really wasn't much 'cafe' to this 'cafe' as it was in the back of a 7-11 under a bank of flourescent lights filled with tweens playing video games at full volume from every direction! they keyboard was so sticky and grimy my fingers actually stuck to the "E" and "P' keys. but it was only about $1 an hour, so it worked just fine. i just remembered to bring my handi-wipes with me the next day.

Land of No Lotion

So i didn't bring a big bottle of lotion with me since i figured i could just get a local brand at a drugstore -- perhaps something mango or coconut scented! only problem is this is the land of no lotion! the only ones i was able to find were all whitening lotions! if there is one cosmetic in the whole wide world i don't need, it's something to make me any more white! anyway, i find it interesting that they have tons of whitening product here and U.S. has tons of bronzing products..... can't we all just be happy with our skins?

so i still really do need the lotion and the only solution i could think of was to get baby lotion -- they don't make that in a whitening version (yet?). so i am walking around smelling like diapers, but at least i am moisturized.
